WASHINGTON, DC – As you can see from the website screenshot below, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Minority Health (OMH) was in much need of a website design modernization effort.
The website was not responsive or mobile-friendly, which is important to their target audience and was hand-built in a proprietary content management system (CMS). The goal of the effort was to migrate into Drupal 9, which is the web CMS (WCMS) platform of choice for HHS and most federal agencies, update the design, build it with a mobile-first strategy, and place more emphasis on user centered design (UCD) techniques.
The intent is to host MinorityHealth.HHS.GOV on Cloud.gov, leverage multi-factor authentication (MFA), and implement a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure that the OMH website remains current moving forward.
Agileana was subcontracted by Blackfish Federal, which holds a contract with HHS OMH.
